Idil Aydemir

Idil Aydemir brings over 30 years of experience in the insurance and risk management industry, recognized for her expertise in property risks, facultative reinsurance, and the placement of complex and high-value risks. A graduate of Yıldız Technical University with a degree in Industrial Engineering, she began her career at Yapı Kredi Insurance, specializing in property risks and facultative reinsurance. She later held managerial and consultancy roles at Marsh and Willis Towers Watson, where she provided tailored risk solutions for diverse industries.

Idil has also dedicated herself to educating the next generation of professionals. She has taught courses at Yeditepe University, the Turkish Insurance Institute Foundation, and other industry organizations, focusing on property risks, engineering risks, and risk management. Beyond her career, she actively supports initiatives promoting equal opportunities for women and children, including volunteering as a literacy instructor for women. With her extensive technical knowledge and commitment to fostering education and equality, Idil continues to make a meaningful impact in her field and community.
